Story:
The film has Deepshika as ‘Simmi’ in lead who is going through a rough patch in her marital life. Simmi’s husband Aditya (Inder Kumar) gives her divorce and throws her and their kids out of his house. Simmi who is a Bollywood choreographer by profession decides to move on with her life. She after her divorce gets a new house for her and her kids. In the course of time she meets Raj (Kaishav Arora) a budding model who falls in love with her despite of knowing the fact that she is a divorcee and has two kids. Raj goes out of his way to impress Simmi who too eventually falls for him. Simmi’s kids are extremely fond of Raj who loves them like his own kids. But their good-run is hit by Raj’s mother (Kunika) who slams Raj for dating a divorcee mother against the society norms. Meanwhile Simmi’s former husband Aditya too comes to woo her back. From there on the film is all about Simmi’s dilemma to choose between the two men in her life and also her fight for justice from the biased society.
Analysis:
The film is directed by Deepshika who has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. And in all the departments the actress has underperformed. The story has nothing new to offer and lacks the novelty factor. The script too is melodramatic, the twists and turns are almost predictable and so is the fate of this film. There are four songs in the film and these too fail to add melody to the already dreading story.
Performances:
Deepshika and Kaishav Arora as lead stars poorly lead the film. We wonder what made debutant Kaishav take this film as his debut vehicle to make an entry in Bollywood. The film also has supporting actors in form of television stars like Ayub Khan, Delnaz Paul and Kunika who’s performances can be easily tagged as average. The film also has Salman Khan’s small cameo and he is at his casual best in the small appearance.
Technicalities:
The music leaves no impact and the rest of the technical aspects too are weak. The film seems like more of an immature attempt. The film despite of all the efforts fails to leave an impression on your mind and has nothing falling in place for it. This makes us give the film a nothing more than 1.5.
