Analysis
As far as the technicalities go the movie has nothing to boast about. The direction, script, screenplay, editing are all below average. Music that is considered to be the backbone of a film also is exasperating and very archaic.
Performances
Good performances by Om Puri, Govind Namdeo, Manoj Pahwa and Maohnish Bahl also could not do much to save the film. Yuvika Chaudhary seems to have improved and seems less irritating. Sartaj who plays Yuvika’s love interest needs acting lessons as he over reacts at places. The film is stretched to the core and the masala elements put in to commercialize it lack quality.
Tehnicalities
Based on a real issue, the film could have been modeled in a much better fashion to put through the message, but poor direction and script kills the motive of the film. The love sequences injected were total waste. Films like ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Rajneeti’, and ‘Lagaan’ said unconventional stories but what worked with them was the entertainment quotient and the hand work put in by the technicians.

The subject that was movie is revolving on needs to be portrayed in a better manner and needs attention of the other side of India that is not aware about honour killings. For just trying to do that, the film can be watched but by people who are involved in such cold-hearted acts.
